    President Tinubu Appoints Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant on Public Health

    President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mrs. Uju Anwuka as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health, operating within the Office of the Vice President. 

    This appointment underscores the administration’s commitment to enhancing public health initiatives across the nation.

    Prior to this promotion, Anwuka served as the Special Assistant to the President on Public Health. 

    In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in combating malnutrition and hunger, particularly in vulnerable communities nationwide. One of her notable contributions includes overseeing the recently launched Nutrition 774 Initiative, a program aimed at addressing nutritional deficiencies across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas. 

    In her new role as Senior Special Assistant, Anwuka is expected to continue her dedicated efforts in advancing public health policies and programs, ensuring that the administration’s vision for a healthier Nigeria is realized.

    This appointment is part of a broader effort by President Tinubu’s administration to actualize the Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on critical sectors such as public health. The elevation of Anwuka reflects the administration’s recognition of her contributions and its commitment to addressing public health challenges in the country.
