The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Nigeria has announced the election of Dr. Odiri Oginni as its new Vice President. This appointment marks a significant milestone in her distinguished career in the financial sector.

The CEO of United Capital Asset Management Limited, Dr. Odiri Oginni, was elected as the new Vice President of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Nigeria

With over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, she is a seasoned corporate executive who has consistently delivered outstanding results. Her expertise spans investment management, business transformation, and driving market leadership.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. With years of service in the finance and investment industry, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a commitment to upholding global best practices in financial management.

Her election reflects the confidence the CFA Society Nigeria has in her ability to contribute meaningfully to its mission of promoting ethical and professional standards in investment management.

In her capacity as Vice President, Dr. Oginni will work closely with the society’s leadership to advance the professional development of members, enhance financial literacy, and foster initiatives that drive economic growth through sound financial principles.

In her words, she stated about her appointment, “I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who voted, encouraged, prayed, and supported me throughout this journey. This victory isn’t just mine—it’s ours. Together, we have an opportunity to drive change, make an impact, and leave a lasting legacy.

“Four years ago, I contested for this same position and didn’t win, so being here today is a moment I do not take lightly. It is a reminder that perseverance, growth, and purpose always find their time. I am truly excited to work alongside each of you. The bar has been raised, and I have no doubt that we will deliver on the trust placed in us.

“To everyone who stepped forward to serve, you are phenomenal. Your courage and commitment have set a new standard, and we are determined to build on this foundation for those who will come after us. The work begins now, and I am honored to be part of this journey. Let’s make it count!”

The CFA Society Nigeria was registered as an Incorporated Trustee in Nigeria in February 2013. Today, the Society boasts over 175 members.
