Following her confirmation at the Council’s recent board meeting, Enwereji expressed gratitude to her predecessor and shared her vision for the Council’s future.

“It is a privilege to lead the American Business Council (ABC) in Nigeria at this pivotal time. At a time of dynamic global shifts and economic transformation, ABC’s role in deepening cross-border business collaboration has never been more critical. I look forward to working with the Secretariat and Board members to steer the direction of the Council, deepen U.S.-Nigeria trade ties, foster investment, and advance a more resilient business environment,” she said.

The American Business Council is the voice of American businesses in Nigeria, advocating for a thriving business climate, facilitating U.S.-Nigeria trade and investment, and promoting ethical business practices.
