Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson: Revolutionizing Preventive Healthcare, One Home Test at a Time

In the bustling corridors of African health tech, Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson shines as a fearless innovator changing the game.

As the founder and CEO of Healthtracka, she’s tearing down traditional barriers by bringing vital medical diagnostics straight to people’s doorsteps—making preventive healthcare not just accessible but effortless.

The spark behind Ifeoluwa’s mission was heartbreak.

In 2018, she lost her father to undiagnosed hypertension and diabetes—conditions that timely diagnosis and care could have controlled. This painful experience revealed a glaring problem: millions in Nigeria face deadly gaps in early detection.

Fueled by a powerful resolve, she set out to rewrite the future of healthcare access.

Launching in 2021, Healthtracka set out with a simple but revolutionary goal: turn health testing into a seamless, at-home experience.

Using a user-friendly digital platform, Nigerians can now order lab tests, get samples collected at home, and receive accurate results in days—bypassing long queues and inaccessible clinics.

The impact was immediate. Expanding across 12 Nigerian states and scaling from two employees to twenty, Healthtracka caught the eye of top investors. A $1.5 million seed round from Hustle Fund and Ingressive Capital in 2022 propelled their mission forward—unlocking next-level growth and innovation.

In a male-dominated tech sphere, Ifeoluwa’s entrepreneurial journey wasn’t easy. A breakthrough moment came when FirstCheck Africa backed her with a $25,000 angel investment dedicated to female founders—fueling both capital and confidence.

Passionate about paving the way for others, she actively mentors women in tech, speaks at conferences, and fights for diversity—embodying empowerment beyond her business.

Healthtracka isn’t just about convenience—it’s about transforming how Africans manage their health.

From self-sampling kits for HPV, UTI, and STI testing to developing API platforms that integrate with telehealth services, Ifeoluwa is decentralizing healthcare, making it smarter and more patient-centered.

Her vision is bold: to scale Healthtracka’s life-changing solutions beyond Nigeria into the wider African continent, tackling entrenched healthcare challenges with technology’s power.

In a world where early diagnosis could mean the difference between life and death, Ifeoluwa Dare-Johnson is not just pioneering preventive healthcare—she’s saving lives, one test at a time.
