    As the founder of Nutraboom Nutrition, Olaniyan is redefining child nutrition by offering natural, locally-sourced cereals tailored to the needs of Nigerian families.

    Olaniyan’s journey into entrepreneurship was sparked by a personal challenge. 

    As a new mother, she sought nutritious, natural cereals for her baby but found the market lacking. 

    “I wanted cereals that contain poultry foods like eggs, fish, chicken, pumpkin, avocado, carrots, and green peas,” she recalls. This gap led her to develop her own cereal blends, which quickly gained popularity among other mothers, laying the foundation for Nutraboom Nutrition.

    Nutraboom Nutrition stands as a women-led social enterprise committed to combating child malnutrition in Nigeria. 

    The brand offers fortified cereals enriched with vegetables and proteins, ensuring they cater to selective eaters while promoting healthy growth.

    Olaniyan emphasizes the importance of natural ingredients, opting for dates over sugar to sweeten the cereals, aligning with her vision of health-conscious parenting.

    Olaniyan’s innovative approach has garnered significant recognition. Notably, Nutraboom emerged as a winner at the prestigious Nexus Program Pitch Competition, a testament to the brand’s potential and Olaniyan’s dedication. 

    This accolade not only validates their mission but also provides opportunities for scaling production and expanding distribution, amplifying their impact across Nigeria.

    Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Olaniyan is a vocal advocate for women’s empowerment and equality in the business landscape. 

    She acknowledges the persistent challenges women face, including funding disparities and balancing family life with business responsibilities. 

    “Equal opportunities are not enough because women still face many challenges in business,” she asserts, highlighting the need for systemic change.

    Looking ahead, Olaniyan envisions a more supportive ecosystem for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. 

    She emphasizes the importance of networking, access to funding, free online coaching, and global partnerships to foster growth and innovation within the sector.
