    1. Mo Abudu (Nigeria) – CEO, EbonyLife Media

    Mo Abudu is a trailblazer in African media. She founded EbonyLife TV in 2013, marking her as the first African woman to own a pan-African TV channel. Under her leadership, EbonyLife has expanded into film production, with notable works like The Wedding Party and Òlòtūré. Her series Blood Sisters gained international acclaim, ranking in Netflix’s global top 10 with over 11 million viewing hours.

    2. Mati Diop (Senegal/France) – Filmmaker

    Mati Diop is a Paris-born filmmaker of Senegalese descent, acclaimed for her Cannes Grand Prix-winning film Atlantics. Her work centers on African narratives and Black representation, aiming to reshape global perspectives on African identities. Diop’s unique storytelling blends political and emotional depth, positioning her as a transformative figure in African cinema.

    3. Dorothy Ghettuba (Kenya) – Director, Original Series for Africa at Netflix

    Dorothy Ghettuba co-founded Spielworks Media in 2009, producing popular Kenyan TV shows such as Lies that Bind and Penzi la Sumu. In 2019, she joined Netflix as the Director of Original Series for Africa, playing a pivotal role in bringing African narratives to a global audience.

    4. Biola Alabi (Nigeria) – CEO, Biola Alabi Media

    Biola Alabi is the force behind Biola Alabi Media, producing acclaimed films like Lara and the Beat and Banana Island Ghost. Previously, as Managing Director at M-Net Africa, she launched several Africa Magic channels and the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. She’s also an angel investor in African tech and media startups.

    5. Uche Pedro (Nigeria) – Founder & CEO, BellaNaija

    Uche Pedro launched BellaNaija.com, a leading lifestyle and entertainment platform in Africa. The site garners over 200 million impressions monthly, covering fashion, weddings, and pop culture. Beyond media, she initiated #BNDoGood, supporting various non-profits and social impact organizations.
