What Governments, Employers, and Communities Must Recognize

- Workplace Inclusion Must Be Intersectional: DEI frameworks in Western companies often overlook the nuanced challenges faced by African women—especially newcomers. Mentorship programs, language sensitivity, and cultural literacy are not “nice-to-haves.”
- Diaspora Communities Need Infrastructure: More support is needed for community centers, mental health services, and programs that cater specifically to African immigrants—led by people who understand their realities.
