    CBZ Bank Appoints Valeta Mthimkhulu as Managing Director

    CBZ Holdings Limited has appointed Valeta Mthimkhulu as the new Managing Director of CBZ Bank.

    Mthimkhulu joins the institution from ABSA Botswana, where she served as Retail Banking Director. 

    She brings over two decades of senior leadership experience within the regional banking sector, having held prominent roles at Barclays, Standard Chartered, and ABSA.

    During her 19-year tenure at Barclays Zimbabwe, she served in various leadership capacities, including Regional Head of Corporate Affairs.

    CBZ Group Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Nyazema described Mthimkhulu as a values-driven leader known for building strong teams and fostering sustainable innovation.
