Tyla celebrated the victory with her fans across social media, further cementing her status as one of Africa’s fast-rising international acts.

Her win comes in a year when several African artists, including Nigeria’s Burna Boy, Asake, Tems, Rema, and Ayra Starr, also earned nominations across multiple categories.

The recognition highlights the dominance of Afrobeats and African artists in shaping contemporary global music trends, positioning the continent as a powerhouse in the international entertainment industry.
