Crafting Confidence Through Luxury Handbags – Alexandria Alli

As a young girl in Lagos, Alexandria Alli often sat by her mother’s sewing machine, mesmerized by the way fabric transformed into garments.

That early exposure to design didn’t just spark curiosity—it planted the seeds of a global fashion brand.

Today, she is the founder and creative director of F&W Style, an Atlanta-based luxury handbag label that celebrates African heritage while redefining everyday elegance for women around the world.

Alli’s journey into fashion was not linear.

After moving to the United States, she worked as a model and later as a television host, but she never lost sight of her creative roots.

With a keen eye for design and a desire to build something lasting, she launched F&W Style in 2010.

What began as a small operation has since evolved into a brand carried in boutiques across the U.S., featured in fashion magazines, and adored by women who see their handbags as both accessories and affirmations of self-confidence.

Her designs are known for their bold colors, textured leathers, and functional luxury—pieces that transition seamlessly from boardrooms to evening outings.

Yet beneath the surface of each handbag lies a cultural statement: a celebration of the richness of African artistry and the universality of women’s aspirations.

For Alli, handbags are more than fashion—they are vehicles of empowerment. Through F&W Style Gives, her philanthropic arm, she supports women entrepreneurs by donating handbags for fundraising and mentoring emerging talents in the industry.

Her mission is clear: to inspire women not only to look good but also to feel powerful enough to chase their dreams.

In a competitive industry dominated by legacy European labels, Alexandria Alli has carved her own path—rooted in resilience, creativity, and cultural pride.

With F&W Style, she proves that African-born talent can create products that sit comfortably on global shelves while carrying a piece of home in every stitch.

Her story is one of transformation: from a child enchanted by her mother’s needlework to a designer shaping how women worldwide carry confidence on their shoulders.
