Ghanaian media personality Nana Ama McBrown and Nigerian actress and activist Kate Henshaw have been announced as headline speakers for the 2026 edition of Women of Valour, set to take place in London.
Organisers revealed that the event, founded by award-winning broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah, will hold on March 7, 2026, at the London Hilton on Park Lane. This year’s edition will run under the theme “The Pursuit of Fearlessness.”
During an Instagram Live session unveiling the speaker lineup, Nana Ama McBrown described the event as a transformative experience, assuring attendees of meaningful engagement and empowerment. She noted that participants should expect an unforgettable gathering designed to inspire courage and confidence.

Kate Henshaw, widely recognised for her work in film as well as her advocacy for social causes, echoed similar sentiments, stressing that authenticity would define the event.
She commended Nana Aba Anamoah for her commitment to building and sustaining the Women of Valour movement.
The 2026 edition marks the fourth instalment of Women of Valour and represents a major milestone in the initiative’s global expansion, following previous editions held in Accra and Paris.
Also joining the speaker lineup are UK-based Lesley Batchelor CBE and Cambodian-American survivor advocate Debora Shanley. Batchelor is the CEO of Export Boot Camps and a former Director General of the UK Institute of Export and International Trade, known for her contributions to international trade and small business development. Shanley, a survivor of childhood abuse, shares powerful narratives centred on healing, resilience, and confronting fear without compromising personal values.
Nana Ama McBrown, born Felicity Ama Agyemang, rose to prominence through Ghanaian television drama and became a household name in Twi-language films. Beyond acting, she has built a successful television career and currently hosts Onua Showtime on Onua TV, while serving as a brand ambassador for several organisations.
Kate Henshaw is one of Nigeria’s most celebrated actresses, with a long-standing career across film and television. She is also known for her advocacy work in women’s rights, child protection, and social development.
Women of Valour is an annual platform marking International Women’s Day, celebrating women whose courage and lived experiences inspire others to confront fear and pursue purpose.
