    Florence Adei Ohene Appointed Second Deputy Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana

    President John Mahama has named Florence Adei Ohene as the Second Deputy Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd (CBG), a move that reinforces leadership within one of Ghana’s prominent financial institutions.

    With over 25 years of experience in both local and international banking, Adei brings extensive expertise to her new role. She will join CBG’s executive team alongside Managing Director Dr. Naomi Kwetey and Deputy Managing Director Sheila Azuntaba.

    Her appointment is expected to enhance the executive synergy necessary to realize CBG’s vision of delivering exceptional value to its customers.

    Prior to this role, Adei led CBG’s International and Diaspora Business Unit, where she successfully implemented strategies to boost diaspora engagement. 

    Her distinguished career includes leadership roles at uniBank in Ghana and senior positions in the U.S. with JP Morgan Chase, PNC Bank, and SunTrust Bank.

    Her experience spans Wealth and Investment Management, Corporate Banking, Strategy, Project Management, and Business Transformation.

    Adei holds an MBA from Georgetown University and graduated cum laude with two degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

    In addition to her banking career, she is a passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion, especially for women-led businesses.

    Her appointment is widely viewed as a strategic step toward advancing CBG’s mission to provide transformative banking solutions across Ghana.
