    From Lagos Airwaves to Global Strategist: Priscilla Iyari’s Brand-Building Revolution

    Priscilla Omebere Iyari (Adeboye) has built an extraordinary career arc—from Nigerian radio host to global marketing powerhouse and social impact advocate. 

    With over 14 years of experience across industries and continents, she defines what it means to execute with purpose in the modern age.

    Starting her journey as an on-air personality at Unilorin 89.3 FM, Priscilla hosted popular shows like TGIF Overnight Lounge and Afternoon Drivetime, honing key storytelling and audience engagement skills that would anchor her later roles.

    Her transition into the corporate sphere began at Globacom, where, as a project coordinator and SIM registration supervisor, she managed a 14‑person team, dramatically boosting registration output and demonstrating early leadership capability.

    Priscilla moved into agency and corporate communications at BDC Communications, handling clients like Dufil Prima Foods, VConnect, and Nobel Carpets. Her standout work included orchestrating brand activations like the Indomie Independence Day Awards to amplify visibility and engagement.

    At Wema Bank, she served as Brand & Marketing Communications Manager, launching the bank’s first hackathon (with a $10,000 prize), onboarding celebrity ambassador Teni, and transforming the brand’s narrative and digital engagement strategy.

    Her next move to Advans Microfinance Network saw her lead integrated marketing communications and launch the Adspire app. Under her tenure, the branch network doubled, and the institution earned multiple honours for innovation and impact.

    She then headed marketing for Quickteller, a fintech subsidiary of Interswitch, where her digital transformation and stakeholder engagement strategies elevated the brand to household recognition across markets.

    Currently, Priscilla holds the role of Regional Marketing & Communications Outreach Officer at FACE Coalition, based in Toronto. There, she champions access, funding, and generational wealth-building for Black entrepreneurs, creating scalable marketing strategies that amplify impact beyond borders.

    Priscilla founded The Actionable Visioning Scheme (TAVS)—a mentorship initiative empowering over 150 minority women across four continents within two years. Its results speak volumes: 70% of mentees landed elevated roles and 88% exceeded their annual financial goals through peer accountability and strategic goal-setting tools.

    She also serves as a mentor with the Women’s Economic Council of Canada, WIMBIZ Nigeria, and the Tony Elumelu Foundation, sharing insights and support with aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals.

    In 2023, she was honoured by UN Women and UNDP for her outstanding contributions to gender equality in the private sector. 

    Her accolades also include the Cannes Young Lions Award (PR) and participation in the Atlas Corps Leadership Institute in the U.S.

    Her voice is increasingly visible as a sought-after speaker on themes like digitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality, where she shares strategic insights at global panels and events.

    At the intersection of marketing brilliance and social impact, Priscilla demonstrates that compelling brand work can fuel personal empowerment, systemic inclusion, and economic transformation. 

    Her trajectory—from local radio to international boardrooms—embodies a new template for purpose-led leadership.
