Grace Quarshie: Transforming Setbacks into a Global Empowerment Legacy

Grace Quarshie’s journey into entrepreneurship is a powerful story of resilience, reinvention, and impact. Once a thriving banking professional, her world shifted dramatically when she was laid off alongside 200 others. The shock of losing her job left her feeling lost, but it also set her on a path of self-discovery and transformation.

For three months, Quarshie grappled with uncertainty, mourning the unexpected turn in her career. However, with the unwavering support of her husband, close friends, and faith, she found the strength to rise.

She relocated to Togo to support her husband’s pastoral work, but a chance encounter at a church service changed everything.

A woman introduced her to network marketing—a business model she had heard of but never considered. After a month of careful reflection, she took a leap of faith, drawn by the promise of financial independence, personal empowerment, and the ability to help others build their own success stories.

Her journey in network marketing began in November 2016. Within months, her persistence and strategic approach paid off—she started earning a steady income, built a thriving team of over 3,000 members, and qualified for international trips and a brand-new car. She quickly realized that her ability to inspire and mentor others was one of her greatest strengths. Women, especially, resonated with her story of bouncing back from job loss to creating a successful business.

Recognizing the need for structured guidance, she deepened her expertise in coaching, public speaking, and personal development. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched Prime Wealthway Consult, later renamed Global Life Empowerment Academy Limited. Her mission? To empower African women to overcome fear, unlock their potential, and monetize their expertise. Since then, she has trained over 500 women, helping them transition into entrepreneurship, become published authors, and build strong personal brands.

Quarshie’s influence extends far beyond business. She has authored multiple books, including the widely acclaimed “I Kissed My Job Goodbye,” and co-authored several anthologies. Her story has been featured on national TV, radio, and global platforms, where she speaks on resilience, self-sabotage, and the power of storytelling. Her work has earned her multiple awards, including Woman in Coaching and Mentoring by the Woman of Stature Global Awards in Dubai and recognition among the Top 40 Global Brands in Africa in 2023.

Through her unwavering commitment, Quarshie continues to inspire thousands of women to break barriers, build confidence, and turn their experiences into powerful tools for success. Her journey is a testament to the fact that setbacks can be the launching pad for extraordinary breakthroughs.
