    Early Life and Education

    Hansatu’s academic journey began at the University of Abuja, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

    During her time there, she made history as the first female president of the Nigerian Universities Association of Management and Business Students (NUAMBS).

    She furthered her education with an Action Learning MBA from Business School Netherlands (BSN) and is an alumna of Harvard Business School, having completed the Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management program.

    Hansatu’s professional trajectory began in commercial banking at United Bank for Africa Plc.

    She later transitioned into roles such as an administrator at ICDL Nigeria and a training partner with Business School Netherlands International.

    Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to team-building consulting and events management, where she applied her expertise to foster organizational growth.

    Leadership at WIMBIZ

    In April 2017, Hansatu assumed the role of Executive Director at Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ), a Nigerian non-profit organization focused on elevating women in leadership positions.

    Over her seven-year tenure, she spearheaded strategic initiatives, including leadership transitions, digital transformation, and funding strategies.

    Her efforts were pivotal in enhancing the WIMBIZ brand and expanding its impact. Hansatu concluded her tenure in April 2024, leaving behind a legacy of growth and empowerment.

    Hansatu’s trailblazing journey continued as she became the first female president of the Business School Netherlands Nigeria Alumni Association in August 2023.
