Ink Eze Launches ‘Creative Business Bestie’ to Empower Nigerian Creatives

Media entrepreneur and founder of AsoEbiBella, Ink Eze, has unveiled a new initiative aimed at helping African creatives build sustainable businesses while pursuing their passions.

The project, titled Creative Business Bestie, is a social media series designed to equip creatives with practical insights into turning creativity into profit.

Eze, who played a pivotal role in the growth of BellaNaija Weddings and established AsoEbiBella as Africa’s largest online fashion community, said the inspiration for the series comes from her own challenges navigating the business side of creativity.

“When I started, there was no playbook,” she explained. “How to charge? How to handle clients? How to protect your worth? I had to figure it out the hard way. Now, I want to share the lessons.”

Set to launch today, September 26, 2025, the series will explore key topics such as customer service, pricing psychology, sustainability, and the realities of building a creative career in today’s world.

It will also provide an open platform for conversations about the wins and struggles of life as a creative.

Eze’s wealth of experience—ranging from her academic background as a Brown University graduate and Oxford MBA holder, to her work on some of Africa’s most viral campaigns including #HerMoneyHerPower—positions her as a credible voice to lead this initiative.

“This is for the photographers, stylists, planners, creative directors, designers; the culture shapers,” she said. “Together, we can make money creatively, responsibly, and stylishly.”
