    Nigerian-American Chamber to Focus on Economic Stability at 2026 Summit

    The Nigerian-American Chamber has announced plans to prioritise macroeconomic stability, inflation control, exchange rate reforms and fiscal sustainability at its 2026 Annual Breakfast Roundtable in Lagos.

    According to a statement from the Chamber, the high-level forum, themed “Forecasting the 2026 Economic Horizon for Nigeria,” will hold on February 17, 2026, at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Oniru, Victoria Island. 

    The event is expected to bring together senior government officials, business executives, policymakers, investors and development partners to explore strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s economic fundamentals and accelerating diversification, particularly in non-oil sectors.

    Discussions at the roundtable will address key issues such as inflation management, exchange rate dynamics, fiscal discipline, job creation and sectoral expansion across agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications and the digital economy.

    The Chamber said the forum will also assess Nigeria’s economic outlook, recent policy reforms and emerging growth opportunities as stakeholders seek measures to stabilise the naira and drive sustainable development.

    The event will be hosted by NACC National President, Sheriff Balogun. The Chief Executive Officer of the, Dr Tayo Aduloju, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address, while Dr Michael Ervin of the United States Consulate General in Lagos will present insights on Nigeria–United States economic and commercial relations. 

    The Chairman of the event, Dr Raymond Ihyembe, will give a goodwill message.

    A panel session will feature representatives from, NACCIMA, and the Presidency, offering expert perspectives on Nigeria’s reform trajectory and economic prospects. The session will be moderated by Dr Adesuwa Erediauwa of the .

    Beyond economic policy discussions, the Chamber will recognise filmmaker and media entrepreneur with the Creative Industry Excellence Award. 

    Odugbemi, founder of Zuri24 Media and co-founder of the iREP International Documentary Film Forum, is a member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

    The Chamber noted that the 2026 Annual Breakfast Roundtable is expected to attract leading executives, diplomats, investors and policymakers, reinforcing its commitment to promoting competitiveness, job creation and sustainable economic growth.
