    Stella Din-Jacob Appointed NTA’s Executive Director of News

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed seasoned journalist Stella Din-Jacob as the new Executive Director of News at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), a move expected to bolster the broadcaster’s editorial strength and restore confidence in its news delivery.

    Din-Jacob, who hails from Plateau State, is a widely respected journalist with more than three decades of experience in broadcasting, newsroom leadership, and editorial management. 

    She began her career as a lawyer before transitioning fully into journalism, where she quickly established herself as a leading voice in Nigeria’s media industry.

    She has held senior editorial positions across major Nigerian newsrooms, including Channels Television, Silverbird Television, and TVC News, where she rose to become Director of News. 

    Over the years, Din-Jacob has been instrumental in shaping newsrooms, mentoring young journalists, and setting professional standards for ethical and impactful reporting. 

    Her work has earned her recognition for strengthening press freedom and for championing gender representation in the media.
