Yolanda Isaac: From Lens Behind the Scenes to Runway Star

Yolanda Isaac’s modelling journey began in 2024—an unplanned one.

Originally passionate about photography and fashion design, she was coaxed in front of the camera by her friend Hanif, a photographer, during a shoot. What started casually soon blossomed into a modeling career. Recognizing her potential, Yolanda embraced the opportunity, and fame followed swiftly.

Her debut came at Lagos Fashion Week 2024, a turning point. She walked for 11 designers, including names like Maliko, Bornstar x Maison Mystic, Lady Biba, and Loza Maleombho. Reviews lauded her runway presence—confident, poised, with deep understanding of style.

More than a pretty face, Yolanda brings knowledge and enthusiasm. She views fashion as more than glitz and glam—it’s a craft and storytelling tool. Observers note she “is not just a model for the money or popularity… this is a career she thoroughly enjoys”.

Yolanda maintains a curated roster of dream brands—Weizdhurm Franklyn, Oshobor, John Eke—hoping to don their designs one day.

With her growing runway credentials, the broader African fashion industry is taking note.

In sum, Yolanda Isaac embodies the evolving landscape of African fashion, where models aren’t just faces, but creative contributors and brand partners.

Her passion, runway confidence, and thoughtful perspective suggest she’s not only on her way up, but poised to leave a lasting mark.
