    Oando Plc Names Ayotola Jagun as Executive Director

    Oando Plc has appointed Ayotola Jagun as an executive director. The appointment, made in line with Article 88 of the company’s Articles of Association, reflects Oando’s continued dedication to strong corporate governance and forward-looking leadership.

    Jagun is a highly respected legal and governance expert with over 30 years of experience across the professional services, financial, and energy sectors. She brings with her a robust track record in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and sustainability.

    For the past 14 years, Jagun has served as Oando’s Chief Compliance Officer and Company Secretary, playing a pivotal role in aligning the company’s practices with international standards. Her leadership has helped foster a culture of transparency and build trust among stakeholders.

    She is dual-qualified as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. 

    Jagun holds fellowships with the Corporate Governance Institute, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria. She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.

    Her elevation to the board reinforces Oando’s focus on inclusive leadership, strategic direction, and sustainable value creation. The company believes her expertise will further strengthen its governance framework and support long-term growth initiatives.
