    Tobi Amusan Wins 100m Hurdles Heat at World Athletics Championships

    Nigerian sprinter Tobi Amusan delivered a standout performance at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo on Sunday, claiming victory in the women’s 100m hurdles heat.

    The reigning champion crossed the line in 12.53 seconds, maintaining a strong lead from start to finish.

    Amusan’s pace placed her well ahead of the Bahamas’ Devynne Charlton, who finished second with a time of 12.69 seconds, while Italy’s Elena Carraro came in third at 12.86 seconds.

    The win secures Amusan’s progression to the next round, further cementing her status as one of the top contenders in the competition. 

    As the heats continue, attention remains firmly on the Nigerian star as she aims for more success in Tokyo.
