Yewande Banire stands at the intersection of passion, purpose, and reform in women’s health.
Armed with advanced medical training and a powerful desire to be the voice for those silenced by stigma, she is reimagining midlife wellness in Nigeria.
Her journey has always been rooted in belief—belief that women deserve more than subpar healthcare, and belief that dignity blooms with knowledge.
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Yewande holds dual master’s degrees in Family Practice and Nursing Education.
Her work deftly fuses rigorous clinical care with culturally-informed education, empowering women to understand and govern their hormonal and reproductive health.
In August 2025, Yewande unveiled Serenara Wellness in Nigeria—a bold expansion of her US-trained wellness platform.
With this launch, she transcended geographical borders to eliminate the hush around menopause, perimenopause, fibroids, and hormone imbalances—a territory frequently neglected in mainstream healthcare.
Rather than merely treating symptoms, Serenara offers a movement: a blend of hormone balancing programs, supportive infusion treatments, metabolic wellness, and accessible, dignified care tailored for midlife women.
“This is more than a clinic—it is a movement,” she said. “Too many women suffer in silence because their symptoms are dismissed, or they lack access to proper education. Serenara Wellness is here to change that narrative.”
Yewande isn’t just delivering medical services; she’s catalyzing societal change.
She is a sought-after voice on global stages—sharing insights at health conferences, leading community dialogues, and speaking on platforms like the Rotary Club of Surulere’s fibroid awareness events. Her tagline encapsulates her vision: “Listen. Heal. Thrive.”
With Serenara now anchored in Nigeria, her philosophy is coming home—bringing a trusted, compassionate hub where women finally feel seen, supported, and heard.
“Every woman deserves to be heard, every woman deserves solutions, and every woman deserves to live fully at every stage of life.”
