    US-based fintech company Grey has announced the appointment of Iheakachi Nwabueze as Vice President, Global Marketing and Growth, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion journey.

    In her new role, Nwabueze leads global brand strategy, market expansion, and commercial growth as Grey continues to scale financial infrastructure for the borderless generation. 

    Backed by Y Combinator, Grey currently serves millions of users across more than 70 countries, enabling seamless international financial access for individuals and businesses worldwide.

    Since joining the company, Nwabueze has played a pivotal role in driving Grey’s growth beyond its West African roots into Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.

    Under her leadership, the fintech has successfully launched in key markets including India, Morocco, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the European Economic Area (EEA).

    Beyond commercial expansion, Nwabueze also oversees Grey’s social impact initiatives, notably the UpGreyed Her grant programme, which supports and empowers women entrepreneurs across emerging markets.

    Her appointment has been widely celebrated across the African tech and business ecosystem, highlighting her impact as a growth leader and her contribution to building inclusive, globally competitive fintech solutions.
