    Nestlé Names Salomé Azevedo as Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Ltd.

    Nestlé has appointed Salomé Azevedo as the new Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Ltd., succeeding Georgios Badaro, who now serves as CEO of Nestlé Indonesia.

    Prior to this role, Salomé served as the Business Executive Officer for Dairy, Beverages, and Confectionery in Nestlé’s Central and West Africa Region, where she oversaw operations across 25 countries from her base in Ghana. 

    With over two decades of experience—15 years of which were dedicated to various commercial roles in sub-Saharan Africa—she brings a deep understanding of the region and industry.

    Reflecting on her new role, Salomé said, “I am honoured to lead Nestlé Ghana Ltd. This is a valuable opportunity to collaborate with the remarkable team in Ghana as we remain committed to delivering quality, nutritious products and driving innovation, all while making a positive impact in the communities we serve.”

    From her base in Accra, Salomé Azevedo will oversee Nestlé’s operations in Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone within the Central and West Africa Region.
