Reacting to her appointment, Liburd expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, “It is a true honour to lead the Grenada Tourism Authority. I extend my thanks to the Minister of Tourism and the Board for their trust, and I am especially grateful to Ms. Petra Roach for her remarkable leadership. I look forward to working collaboratively to further strengthen Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique’s position as leading Caribbean destinations.”
