Talented Women Network and Pressdia Partner with Tech Women Fest 2025 to Spotlight Women Driving Africa’s Tech Future

Talented Women Network (TWN) and Pressdia joined Tech Women Fest 2025 as media partners, amplifying the stories, voices, and impact of women leading innovation across Africa’s technology landscape.

Held on Saturday, October 11, at the Solution Arena, Onipanu, Lagos, the event — themed “Tech for Impact: Innovating Solutions for Africa’s Challenges” — brought together founders, innovators, and professionals to explore how technology can drive inclusion and create solutions to Africa’s most pressing challenges.

Organised by NezaTech Africa, this year’s Fest celebrated women who are shaping Nigeria’s tech future and setting new standards for innovation across the continent. Through their partnership, TWN and Pressdia played an active role in documenting key moments, engaging with thought leaders, and ensuring that the event’s insights reached wider audiences across traditional and digital platforms.

In a statement, the leadership of the Talented Women Network reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to advancing visibility for women in technology:

“Tech Women Fest aligns with our vision of building strong networks that champion women’s leadership and visibility across sectors. We’re proud to support a platform that mirrors our mission to empower women through connection, confidence, and collaboration.”

Pressdia also underscored the importance of storytelling and representation in advancing women’s leadership. According to Olanrewaju Alaka, Chief Executive Officer of Laerryblue Media, parent company of Pressdia, the partnership created a vital space to showcase women who are redefining what it means to build and lead in Africa’s tech ecosystem.

Tech Women Fest 2025 featured keynote sessions, panel discussions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities — all designed to celebrate women’s growing influence in Africa’s innovation and digital economy.

Through this collaboration, TWN and Pressdia continue to champion women’s empowerment through storytelling, mentorship, and media visibility, strengthening networks that help women in business, technology, and the creative industries thrive.
