    Toyin Abraham’s Hits Major Milestone, Crosses ₦1bn Mark 

    Actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has reached a major milestone as her latest film, Oversabi Aunty, has grossed over ₦1 billion at the Nigerian box office.

    The achievement marks the first time Abraham has surpassed the ₦1 billion revenue mark in her career. 

    With this feat, Oversabi Aunty now ranks as the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time.

    Released in December 2025, the movie has also made history as the first directorial debut in Nollywood to cross the ₦1 billion threshold.

    Film distributor FilmOne described the success as a landmark moment for the Nigerian film industry, applauding the movie’s strong commercial performance.

    Reacting to the record, Abraham expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans, cast, crew, and partners, including FilmOne, acknowledging their support in bringing the project to life and sustaining its success in cinemas nationwide.
