ImpactHER’s Efe Ukala Recognised for Championing Women Entrepreneurs Globally

The Founder and President of ImpactHER, Efe Ukala, has been named among the 2025 Global Heroes Executive Role Models in the Executive category by inclusion organisation INvolve, in partnership with YouTube.

The Heroes Role Model Lists, supported annually by YouTube, celebrate global executives, emerging leaders, and advocates who are driving workplace inclusion and breaking barriers for women across industries.

In her acceptance speech, Ukala described the honour as a reflection of ImpactHER’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs across Africa and the Caribbean.

Since its inception, the non-profit organisation has supported over 200,000 women-led businesses through training, resources, and access to global markets.

“I am deeply humbled to be named to the 2025 Heroes Executive Role Model List supported by YouTube,” Ukala said.

“This recognition belongs to every woman working quietly yet powerfully to create space for others. Leadership, to me, is about creating lasting change, turning challenges into opportunities, and paving the way for women-led businesses to thrive.”

“I’m thrilled to be celebrating this global group of trailblazing executives, future leaders, and advocates who are ensuring women can thrive in the workplace,” Sandhu said. “Each honouree featured in the Heroes Role Model Lists supported by YouTube is using their platform to drive strategic change and promote inclusion.”

Ukala’s recognition reinforces her growing influence as a leading voice for equity, inclusion, and economic empowerment across Africa.
