Meet Dr. Adeshola Cole: The Visionary Leader Revolutionizing Tech Education at Tritek Consulting

Dr. Adeshola Cole, CEO and Founder of Tritek Consulting Limited, is on a mission to bridge the digital skills gap.

With a background in English literature and a doctorate in leadership management, her unconventional journey into tech is nothing short of inspiring.

In this interview, Dr. Cole reveals the highs and lows of her career, the challenges she’s overcome, and her bold vision for the future of tech education.

CA: Your career path is quite unique, transitioning from English literature to tech leadership. What inspired this shift?

Dr. Cole: My journey wasn’t a straight path, but one of discovery and adaptability. While my foundation was in literature, I realized early on that technology was shaping the future. I was drawn to its impact and the opportunities it created, especially for under-represented groups.

This realization led me to establish Tritek Consulting, bridging the gap between tech education and real-world application.

CA: Tritek Consulting has trained thousands of professionals. What makes your approach stand out?

Dr. Cole: Our focus is on accessibility and practical learning. We tailor our programs to industry needs, ensuring that our students gain hands-on experience. We also provide mentorship, career guidance, and a community-driven learning environment. Tech can be intimidating, but with the right support system, anyone can excel.

CA: What has been the biggest challenge in building Tritek Consulting, and how did you overcome it?

Dr. Cole: One of the biggest challenges has been changing perceptions—helping people see that tech careers are within their reach, regardless of their background. Overcoming skepticism required persistence, delivering results, and showcasing success stories from our students. Seeing people transform their careers has been the most rewarding part of the journey.

CA: Women in tech often face unique barriers. How are you working to create more opportunities for women?

Dr. Cole: Representation matters. At Tritek, we actively encourage women to pursue tech careers by offering targeted mentorship programs, scholarships, and networking opportunities. I want more women to see that they belong in this industry and can thrive in it.

CA: Social media has played a role in both amplifying your work and attracting criticism. How do you navigate that?

Dr. Cole: Social media is a double-edged sword. While it has helped us reach a global audience, it also comes with scrutiny. I’ve learned to focus on impact rather than distractions. Staying true to my mission and letting results speak for themselves has been my approach.

CA: Your upcoming Free Career Masterclass is generating buzz. What can participants expect?

Dr. Cole: This initiative is designed to make tech education more accessible. Participants will gain insights into Project Management and Business Analysis, two highly sought-after skills in the tech industry. We’re bringing in industry experts to share real-world knowledge and equip attendees with tools to jumpstart their careers.

CA: What advice do you have for aspiring tech professionals who feel uncertain about where to start?

Dr. Cole: Start with curiosity and take small steps. The tech industry has so many pathways—find one that aligns with your interests. Be willing to learn, seek mentorship, and don’t let fear hold you back. Growth comes from taking action.

CA: Looking ahead, what’s next for Tritek Consulting?

Dr. Cole: Expansion and innovation. We’re working on new training programs, strategic partnerships, and a broader reach across Africa and beyond. The goal is to empower even more people with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.

Dr. Adeshola Cole’s journey exemplifies resilience and purpose. Through Tritek Consulting, she is not just teaching tech skills—she is transforming lives, shaping careers, and paving the way for a more inclusive future in technology.
