    Yewande Amusan Named Chairman of FirstCap Limited

    Yewande Amusan has been appointed Chairman of the Board of FirstCap Limited, the investment banking and capital markets subsidiary of First HoldCo Plc.

    The appointment was announced as part of a broader leadership overhaul across First HoldCo’s non-commercial banking subsidiaries, following regulatory approvals from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).

    Amusan’s new role places her at the helm of FirstCap’s board, where she will lead strategic oversight and governance at the firm. She brings extensive experience in finance across both the public and private sectors, positioning her to guide the company amid growing demand for investment banking services in Nigeria.

    The First HoldCo board reshuffle also featured other key appointments across its subsidiaries, underscoring the group’s focus on strengthening leadership and corporate governance across its businesses.
